The Hibiscus Tiliaceus is a species of flowering trees in the Mallow family and is native to Australia. The Hibiscus Tiliaceus has heart-shaped leaves that are speckled, splashed, and striped in shades of green, cream, pink, and deep burgundy. A striking splash of color and interest for a sunny garden or patio. The rich maroon new growth gives the appearance of flowers from a distance, and the flowers are bright yellow with a deep red center upon opening. Over the course of the day, the flowers deepen to orange and finally red before they fall. Does very well indoors. Protect from freezing temperatures.
