The thick, gnarled branches take on a somewhat pendulous form. An irregular, globular form with twisting, gnarled, drooping branches. It has scaly, reddish-brown bark which eventually becomes black. Its stiff yellow-green needles eventually turn dark green. Keep outdoors.
